BATTERY RECONDITIONING
Terravision Electric offers a premium battery reconditioning service for electric scooters, bicycles and mopeds.
The battery is one of the most important components of an electric vehicle. In most cases it uses lithium-ion cells and, in the case of e-bikes and e-scooters, it can be removed from the vehicle to be recharged at home or at work.
The quality of the cells and the relative overall capacity (amperage) define the autonomy, also influenced by the type of use and the temperatures encountered: optimal performance occurs between 20 and 25 °C. The life span of these batteries is measured in cycles and varies between 1000 and 3000 cycles. If the vehicle is not going to be used for a long time, we advise charging the battery, detaching it from the vehicle and storing it in a cool, dry place.
Most modern zero-emission vehicles use a Smart Charger, which prevents overcharging by automatically switching off when the battery has reached an appropriate level. While this safety feature is effective, we recommend unplugging your battery once it is fully charged.

Battery reconditioning, i.e. the restoration of full battery health, is a process that our experienced technicians perform daily on various vehicles from different brands.
This specialized operation involves replacing the cells inside the battery and overhauling the relative electronic components. This service allows you to save up to 30% compared to the cost of a new battery.
At our electromechanical workshop in Desio, Terravision Electric technicians can also upgrade your battery to increase its autonomy or transform it from a lead-acid battery to a more advanced lithium battery.
